HVAC Repair Services
All HVAC systems eventually get worn and may break down. Our NATE-certified technicians can come fix whatever the problem is and get you back to feeling comfortable in your home or business.
Furnaces are complex pieces of machinery. They have many parts that may develop issues. The ductwork or filters can get clogged with debris and need cleaning. If there are problems with the starting mechanism, your furnace can’t turn on. Worn blower bearings make a scraping noise. Worn blower belts make a high-pitched squeal. If your furnace is on but not producing heat, it could mean the heat exchanger needs replacing.
Geothermal heat pumps transfer heat from underground to inside your home. They can develop leaks and scale buildup that can prevent them from working efficiently. The fan blades can get damaged, and valves can get stuck or broken. Motor problems can also prevent your heat pump from working.
Air conditioning systems can also develop leaks, which could damage the compressor or freeze the coil. You can detect leaks not only by seeing drips but also by hearing a hissing noise. Their air filters also need cleaning from time to time. Thumping, rattling, or banging means blower or motor assembly problems. A screeching sound indicates problems with the compressor or fan motor.
Mini-split systems can leak refrigerant, which will cause them to work harder and not provide enough heating or cooling. If you notice fluctuations in temperature, it may mean the sensors are malfunctioning. A clogged condensate drainage system can also cause leaks. If not fixed, water can cause severe damage throughout the system.
Boilers use water instead of air to heat your home or business. Rumbling noises indicate they are overheating from excess heat and pressure. If not fixed, this can cause extensive damage. Rust or other types of corrosion can accumulate in the tank. A boiler replacement will be necessary if the rust is excessive. However, you won’t need to buy a brand-new boiler if it’s just a matter of replacing a few parts. If the circulator pump stops working, your boiler can’t distribute the heat. Sediment and limescale can build up inside the tank, which limits the boiler’s efficiency. We can flush the tank to fix this.
